Though it is a relatively new workout on the scene, rebounding has quickly become one of the most acclaimed physical activities for all age groups. The routines are done on a mini trampoline, where you engage the muscles throughout your whole body with only minimal impact on your joints. It’s the best of cardio, gymnastics, dance, and aerobics combined.

I was introduced to the Cardio Jump class by a total babe and fitness inspiration, Alissa Perzow. Since my very first class, I’ve been hooked! Her creative approach, upbeat music and fast-paced choreography remind me of the days when I studied dance and my Cheerleader years. I became so passionate about the exercise that I approached Alissa about getting certified.

After weeks of practice and several thousand jumps later, I’m proud to announce that I teach a Cardio Jump class at Victoria Park gym every Friday at 11:45 AM. Thanks to Mrs. Persow for being such an amazing mentor and patient teacher!

Where else would you find a group of women of all ages and body types literally jumping for joy together?! This is some of the best fun I’ve had while exercising. It’s super liberating, fun, and playful - an instant pick me up! Even my daughter’s love it; the three of us have the best time blasting our favorite tunes and jumping around on the trampoline at home.
