When I met Marie-Josee from Summer Memories, the first thing I noticed was how stylish she was. Simple, yet refined, there was something that caught my eye about the way she wore her clothes. We got to talking and I learned that she was handmaking jewelry here in Montreal. Creating beautiful pieces by assembling chains real pearls, Summer Memories is her way of sharing a simple accessory in a way cool, stackable way. Handmade with love, she describes her collection as being inspired by magical moments. I love it!

A little word about Virginie Vandelac, because although this talented woman needs no introduction, I do feel she should get the attention she deserves. Virginie is one of Montreal’s favourite celebrity makeup artists. With her own online studio and webinars, she is a fiercely gifted artist. I have personally worked with her before on a video and I absolutely fell in love with her technique and insight into a person’s natural beauty. I’m excited to bring together some of our city’s homegrown talent and show Montreal some serious love. I’ll keep everyone posted, promise!
