Let me introduce you to one of my favourite chefs in the city, Kimberly Lallouz. She’s a very talented woman and a woman in charge. In less then fours years and let's not forget she's only 33 years old, the chef and owner opened Miss Prêt à Manger and Monsieur Resto & Bar. Her restaurants are located side by side on Bleury Street, in the heart of Montreal's financial district. Miss Lallouz also runs two catering companies: Petite Miss Prêt à Manger, which supplies daycares with healthy, organic meals and snacks, and Miss Tennis, which provides nutritious fare for several sporting events, including the prestigious Rogers Cup.

At Monsieur, the service is impeccable and always friendly. The decor is particularly nice and cozy. The walls are covered with art, lined with black and white stripes . Everything is done with good taste and Kim’s personal touch.

Monsieur is a very popular lunch place in the city with a daily gourmet farm-to-table menu based and inspired by seasonal produce from the market. The fish is always organic and the meat is sourced from local suppliers. Much of the plate is devoted to delicious vegetables, without leaving aside all the good stuff. The portions are just perfect and well balanced!

Leave some place for deserts there are simply decadent!!!

Music : a mix of old and new, reggae is one of my first loves of music.

Her bucket list : to travel to every corner of the world….to own a bed & breakfast on a beautiful shore line and to own a a farm with horses (could be at the bed & breakfast!!)

Five people you would like to meet : I would like to go to Japan to meet Jiro and eat his sushi before he leaves this planet…. Martha stewart, , Ferren Adria, Anthony Bourdain and… Charlie Hunnam ☺

Something we don’t know about you: I paint & write on my free time. I used to want to be in the circus. I read a lot. Im trying to teach myself how to meditate. I struggle to stay positive just like everyone else. I speak to the universe everyday. I cant wait to meet the man who I can say whole heartedly is my true love and life partner!

Busy lunches, cosy 5 a 7's, relaxing dinners, private parties... Monsieur Restaurant + Bar is your go to urban gem. Kim is well versed in planning events from A-Z! Private parties, private brunches, fixed menus tailored to your group, ‘cocktail dinatoires’, parties with DJ & Live band or for a simple 5 à 7.

Monsieur is also a perfect evening destination with friends or a date. Kim and her team are always making sure you have a fantastic time. My favourite night is B:EATS, a night of love, music and food. While you are having a great meal you can enjoy the beat of a live performance from Shaharah and her band. The energy is unbelievable, it's a fun night out guaranteed! They will even move a few tables to make some space and expand the dance floor area. This event is off the roof and not to be missed!!! Actually there is one this Saturday December 6th, see you there!
