As far back as I could remember fashion has always been an incredible passion of mine. I have not only been interested in putting together the newest trends and collections in a way that represents my personal style, but I’ve also made it a point to be informed about what’s going on in the fashion world at large. One thing that I’ve always loved is a creative collaboration between fashion icons/influencers with brands as the results tend to be extra special and full of covetable items. Kate Bosworth’s recent partnership with Matisse footwear is no exception to this rule!

Anyone who has met me knows that my biggest weakness in life is SHOES! I am a self-proclaimed shoe addict and can never have enough sneakers, flats, heels, wedges, boots…you name it, I want it! My life consists of balancing a busy family life with being a luxury lifestyle blogger and that means that I need something comfortable when I’m chasing the kids, street chic numbers for on-the-go activity, and glam heels for nights out on the town (or at least this is what I tell my hubby to get away with my collection).

I recently fell in love with the Kate Bosworth X Matisse collection at a spring preview held at Show and Tell Fashion, a bi-coastal distribution company with exclusive rights to distribute the brand in Canada. Kate has always been somewhat of a fashion icon to me, with her stunning, effortless beauty and classic style that has been constantly evolving over the years. Known for her creative, on-trend style, it is no surprise that this collaboration came to life with Matisse footwear only to result in super wearable yet unique line of shoes.

My personal favorite for this summer are the mules! They are super easy to slip on which makes them perfect my life on the go. I’m really into bohemian inspired fashion and these mules couldn’t be more fitting. The collection launched this spring and features 10 styles including boots, sandals and my fave - mules. The prices range from $295 - $505 and are available across Canada at select Browns Shoes locations.
