Aritzia

Fashion lovers of Montreal, time to celebrate! One of our favorite fashion retailers Aritzia opened its biggest location in Canada, right here on Sainte Catherine street! I attended the opening night and I got to see the beautiful new store. It was a great night out animated by Maripier Morin, music by Milk & Bone with a live band: No Joy, it was a lot of fun!!!

With over 10 000 square feet and 2 stories high, the store is bound to become the new hotspot for fashion in our city. The place is gorgeous: a luminous atrium at its center, filled with great art, lush plants and custom video installations, it is really a sight to be seen.
And then of course, the clothes. I have always loved Aritzia since I discovered their stores in Vancouver. Since then, they have quickly become an international leader for fashion, and that is thanks to the vision of the founder, Brian Hill. With stores in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Chicago and New York, Aritzia is always at the forefront of international fashion, with an array of contemporary, modern and youthful styles and always introducing exclusive brands always at the forefront of fashion. Their focus on personalized customer service, excellent quality and affordable prices is the winning combination that sets them apart from the crowd, and on top of the retail game.

The event was really awesome, great music, cocktails and beautiful people… and of course I got to sift through the racks of awesome clothing and set my eyes on some incredible jean shorts!
I am really excited to see this great Canadian establishment grow and expand, and bring back fashion where it belongs: in the heart of Montreal.
Of course, their ecommerce is still one of the most appreciated out there ( they won the 2014 Canada Post Ecomm award) but I do recommend you go and check out how gorgeous the new store is...Maybe we’ll cross paths, as I am surely going to get some summer staples from there( those shorts are mine!)
Wilfred’s new collection takes inspiration from the summer harvest. The result is storied pieces in sun-kissed, pigment-dyed mineral tones and painterly prints designed for modern bohemians who find romance at every turn, and who aren’t afraid to show a little skin.
A simple heart is at the center of Babaton’s summer collection, which takes a classic, minimalist approach to modern dressing. Luxe fabrics and flawless tailoring elevate everyday essentials to something much, much more.
I'm wearing from Aritzia:
Babaton emory blouse: short sleeves give this classic button-up a fresh update. Made from beautiful and luxuriously textured fabric from Japan, the shirt features a tailored box pleat at the back yoke. The hem is abbreviated.
Wilfred narrateur skirt: this skirt is made with a beautifully textured linen dobby fabric that is soft and substantial. It has a wide, contour waistband with an invisible zipper at the side seam. The skirt also features soft pleats and a mid-length hem.
Shoes : Isabel Marant from TNT fashion, Clutch : Proenza Schouler from Ssense, Sungalsses : Celine from Cahier d'Exercice
