Who doesn’t love receiving packages in the mail?! Every time my doorbell rings, my youngest daughter runs to answer and she particularly loves me to help me open the packages. You can imagine our smiles when we received our custom cereal from Mixit!

Like a lot of moms out there, my mornings can be far from relaxing. With a hungry hubby, a three and five-year-old, including myself to feed, it can sometimes feel like I need to keep it simple. I'm always looking for ways to cut time while being health-conscious and of course, pleasing the family.

Mixit is a Montreal-based brand that delivers ready-made and personalized cereal mixes with over 70 ingredients to choose from like dried fruits, nuts and seeds. Whether you’re looking for gluten-free, low-sugar, or high-fiber options, they have something for everyone!

I tried a custom mix of millets grain, quinoa, buckwheat, sunflower seeds, and goji berries. While my husband and daughters eat is as cereal with a splash of almond milk, I love to add it to smoothies, yogurt & fresh fruit, as well as acai bowls. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite recipes with you in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

It’s as easy as handpicking the ingredients we love the most and waiting for our mixes to arrive in the mail. Plus, I absolutely love the packaging, a sleek and stylish tube with the option to further personalize with our names on them. I even helped my girls to create a mix with some sweet treats and kid-friendly ingredients.

In our house, we’ve always been big on breakfast, a tradition ingrained in me by my father. These personalized cereal mixes make a great addition to our morning favorites, while keeping everything both simple and healthy. Create your own mix today at www.mixit.ca!
