Lipstick is probably the first beauty product I played with as a little girl. It was the gateway to eye shadows, blush, and everything else that glittered and shined. But playing dress up isn’t just for kids, I still love the ritual of standing in front of my mirror and creating a look, especially those finishing touches of that perfect shade of lipstick.

Charlotte Tilbury
Hot Lips Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury is a stunning collection, and I mean that both in packaging and lipstick. There are 11 shades so you’re sure to find your colour match. Mine is the stunning Angel Alessandra. A nude with matte texture and smooth, long-lasting hold. I love this for the fall.
Clarins
I love Clarins for a lot of their skincare and beauty products, but this one takes the cake. The Lip Comfort Oil Shimmer (I got mine in coral 06) is basically where the future of lipstick is headed. Coconut oil is used as the base which is great news, because we all know the thousand and one benefits of coconut oil. So now, we can have that lightweight, stunning colour of lipstick with the nourishing effects of coconut oil.

Vegan? Check. Clean? Check. Powered by the nourishing effects of cocoa butter? Check!
Bite Beauty upped the ante this year with Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipstick. If you notice a trend, it’s because there is one… I’m moving toward being more conscious of what I put on my body, especially my lips! I’m obsessed with Sugar Buns, the colour is soft and light, and perfect for everyday wear.
Lancôme
All lipsticks claim to be long-lasting, and some actually truly are! Lancôme created a stunning collection called L’Absolu Rouge Drama Ink (mine’s French Tea). It is drama, drama, drama, all the way. Saturated colour, stays on all day (and night), soft and lush texture… for a little bottle, it packs a lot of punch.
Givenchy
I’ve been a fan of Givenchy lipsticks since forever for so many reasons, mostly because they so colour right. I got the colour Rose Perfecto from their Lip Balm 24H Hydration collection and I am in absolute love. It is lip balm and skincare all in one. Made to nourish, plump and last for, you guessed it, 24 hours, it is the perfect colour for your lips – yup, perfect colour because it adapts to the pH of your lips to create custom colour! Oh and did I mention is comes in a couture leather case? Yup, it’s perfection.
