Kerastase is one of those hair care brands that you fall in love with at the hairdresser and think, oh how I wish I could buy these products, too bad they are just for the pros. Well, wish no longer - your wish has come true!
Kerastase is probably one of the best hair care brands out there and is widely available and hairdresser-approved. I have been using some of their treatment-style products for a while and have noticed only incredible results. I boast about them and recommend them to anyone who will listen. So here you go, my top 5 Kerastase products:
Bain Ultra-Violet Shampoo
It can be hard to keep the brilliant shine of that first-week out of the salon colour. Trust me, I’ve been blond more or less my whole life, and I can say, hands down, it is hard to keep that brassiness away. But the Bain Ultra-Violet Shampoo neutralizes those blue and purple pigments and lets the blond shine through. It’s part of a routine I take very seriously, because why pay that money and spend the time for the perfect colour only to wash it away with crappy shampoo? Trust me, this shampoo is a must.
Masque Cicaextreme
Post shampoo always comes that deep restorative, intense conditioner. It’s perfect for bleached hair, even if it’s just highlights. It is meant to reconstruct the fibres that bleach breaks down. Strengthening your hair is super important or else lots of stuff can start to happen – breakage, splitting, thinning… all the not awesome stuff.

Masque Extentioniste Hair Mask
You can throw on some extension pieces and let the add-ons do the work for you, which I do from time to time. But I also am commited to trying to get my hair to grow naturally.
