William Gray Pop Up

There are so many seasonal activities that pop up in the winter months, most of which have become traditions I very much look forward to. From skiing and skating to hot chocolate by the fire, nothing says winter like warm socks and cozy blankets. But, I have to say, it’s a been a while since I’ve experienced something new – like totally different in winter.

Reinventing the dining experience to reflect our dazzling winter whites, Willian Gray has created a pop-up that is absolutely magical. Atop the 8th floor, looking out to the phenomenal Montreal views, frameless geodesic domes bring the heat to outdoor dining.

A majestic experience, William Gray offer a brunch and dinner menu along with a limited-edition cocktail and wine list to take us through these long, cold months. Stylish, delicious, and absolutely picture perfect, it just truly blows my mind that we haven’t thought of this yet!

So much to love about eating outdoors in your own little heated dome (and by little, it’s 108sq, which is plenty of space for 4-6 people), guests enjoy a 5-course dinner filled with locally sourced ingredients.

I had some personal faves. For brunch, the charcuterie platter, duck confit, gravlax, and oysters hit the savory pretty spot on. And then for those who are a bit sweeter, the French Toast stuffed with ricotta and whiskey sortilege. The dinner serves everything from Jerusalem artichoke cream and truffle whipped cream, snail puff pastry, red tuna tataki, black code with miso and maple, I mean the list goes on and on!

A memorable experience, William Gray Pop Up dare us to sit outdoors and take in the panoramic view of Old Montreal skylines – Place Jacques Cartier, the St Lawrence River, and the Ferris Wheel.

So when you’re planning your next dinner party (or brunch!) and want to make it extra special, think of William Gray. It’s only around for the next 4 months – don’t miss out!
