december top 10

The end of year is here and oh what a year it’s been. As I look back and think about all the things that have happened throughout the year, I have so much gratitude in my heart for every experience, every moment, every person, and of course, all of you. Today on the blog, I round up some of my faves of December – every product here is tried, true, and tested by yours truly.

1. Mademoiselle Jules Jewelry – Life of the Party earrings | 2. Shu Uemura Netsu Design blow dry cream | 3. Shu Uemura essence absolu nourishing protective oil | 4. French Farmacie Elixir Exfoliant | 5. French Farmacie Serum Radiant | 6. Chanel Touche de Teint | 7. Guerlain Scented candle | 8. Vapour Mesmerize mascara | 9. Omy: Reusable Eye Patches - Good Morning | 10. Omy: Multi-action Eye Cream with peptides

The Life of the Party earrings by Mademoiselle Jules (yes, that’s me) are my absolute favourite charm from the holiday collection. Colourful and festive, the pearl and crystal fireballs dangle from gold hoops and inspire everything from abundance, growth, generosity, and serenity. The perfect gift to someone you love (including yourself), these earrings pair well with that sparkly outfit or even a denim look, because you’re fabulous!

A primer that is both long-lasting and lightweight is hard to find. Shu Uemura created the perfectly versatile hair primer called Netsu Design Blow Dry Cream that protects against heat and controls that frizz while also leaving your hair smooth and natural to the touch. Along with the primer, Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Hair Oil is an ultra-intense conditioning oil that also has multiple uses like on-the-go touch ups and a little extra shine.

I believe French Farmacia is probably my newest discovery – and I’m beyond excited to have found it. The Élixir Exfoliant is an exfoliating mask that is both gentle and hardworking. Legit, it’ll tone your skin and leave you bright and smooth while also working away all those dull skin cells. The Sérum Radiant is marketed as a “face oil meets serum” and that’s pretty much on point. It is multitasking as it nourishes, balances and boosts that healthy glow. I use it day and night for optimal results (but also because I love the ritual of it all).

Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch by Chanel is a versatile (is that the buzzword for this top 10?) face makeup that conceals with perfect coverage. I love this product because all you need is a single little droplet and it works wonders. Natural and flawless, it works for real #nofilter.

Creating that warm vibe in your home doesn’t happen by accident; it’s one of those things that happens with the perfect combination of smell and glow – yes, I mean candles. Whenever I need a gift for a host, I always think candles. The Guerlain scented candles are a comforting dream that is fragrant with the scent of forest, wood, and swirls of the far north. I know, poetic, but trust me, you’ll feel like you escaped into the soaring landscape atop a mountain.

Always on the search for the perfect mascara, I’ve narrowed my faves down to, oh, I’d say about a dozen. But only the best of the best make my list. I love to layer mascara for a textured and rich look and Mesmerize Mascara by Vapour is one wand that tops the list. A wispy look, this mascara gives that au naturel eye.

Omy Cosmetics has these reusable Eye Patches that work with their Multi-Action Eye Cream with peptides. The benefits of both are compounded when used together eliminating that tired eye. Plumping and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles as well as brightening your undereye area with awakening properties, Good Morning is a great little trick I’m happy to share with you all. Combat aging and fatigue with a one-two punch!
