Classic Zadig & Voltaire

Those perfect, ready-to-wear basics to up your summer wardrobe, Zadig & Voltaire bring the edge, the sass, but most importantly, the classics. The type of stuff that you can wear anywhere, take anywhere, style a bunch of ways, and keep forever.

I say most important because, although it’s great to invest in a few stand-out items to up the ante on your seasonal wardrobes, it’s much more spend savvy to grab those big ticket items when you know they won’t ever lose their appeal.

Zadig & Voltaire do that each and every time. Their pieces still feel very of the moment, but not in that trend and toss sort of way. In a relevant but I’ll stick around for a few more seasons kind of way. That’s how I feel about summer dresses, and Zadig & Voltaire did it right with this one.

From the eye-catching patterns to the absolutely stunning sleeves and easy-to-wear silhouette, this dress can take you from a sunny summer brunch to a spring day shopping in NYC and everything in between.

The Rhone, amongst other dresses and skirts in this pattern, is the perfect fit for those whoe are petite in stature. The hemline hits perfectly for a sandal or bootie and it can be styled with leather and the Neva necklace in orange clasp for edge or basketweave purse for a European vibe.

I’m a big fan of summer dresses – so easy to style and simply so wearable. I accessorize and create fancier looks or I dress them down for a more street feel with booties. But as much as I love a classic flowy dress (here’s a close look to the one I have on), I also love long maxi skirts. I’m absolutely obsessed with the Judith, which has a close feel to the dress I have styled here.

Also, one of my favourite Zadig & Voltaire classics are their camisole-style slip dresses. I have a mini addiction because again, like so much of their stuff, it’s just such a wearable piece. And nothing feels better than getting great use out of your big buys.

Whenever I travel, especially to hot destinations, I try to take as little as possible and whenever I take stock of what I’ve packed, I always notice that I’ve crammed in as much Zadig & Voltaire as humanly possible and do you know why? Because it’s all so versatile, stylish, and absolutely wearable!
