Girls Night Out @Flyjin

If you’ve been following my blog, then it shouldn’t come as a surprise that in my personal and professional life, I run a tight ship. My days are jammed packed with endless responsibilities and from time to time, I just need to go out with my girlfriends and leave the world behind (Swedish House Mafia style lol)! Nothing gets your spirits up like an afternoon of prepping with besties and heading out for dinner & cocktails.

The first stop is always Holt Renfrew. Besides loving a glam look, I always want feel my best whenever there’s an outing with my gorgeous gals. I’ll head straight to the Dior counter to get my makeup done by Kiki. Depending on my mood, I’ll opt for a smoky effect or a cat-eye with light rose color lip. His precision is beyond and I always leave looking natural and feeling fantastic!

Afterwards I’ll head to Blome blow dry bar for a quick hair touchup with Kim. Everything from their blowouts and beach waves to intricate braids are perfection! Since I love the boho-chic look this season, maxi dresses, natural makeup and simple stacked jewelry, I needed to try a fishtail braid. I fell in love and can’t wait to try their other styles!

The only thing left is to get changed and go! My outfits really vary when I go out and you can find me wearing anything from mini to maxi dresses to distressed denim and a white tee. Once I’m dressed and doused in my favorite Balenciaga perfume, I’m out the door and ready to dance the week off with my friends!

Our one-stop shop for a fabulous night out is often Flyjin, a Japanese supper-club in the heart of Old Montreal. Since it’s opening, it has really become our favorite destination for dinner, cocktails, and dancing! After an afternoon full of driving around in the name of beauty, can you blame us for wanting to have it all under one roof?

The space itself is gorgeous, with a modern yet classic look with a touch of Asian flare. Brick walls, red lighting and murals on the walls add to the cool underground vibe that Flyjin is known for.

When we heard about their new menu, it was reason enough to head over for an exciting evening! With renowned executive chef Antonio Park at the helm of the kitchen, our mouths watered at the thought of trying it all! The Flyjin salad, the Binnaga Maguro Tataki (Albacore tuna tataki)  and the Gindara misozuke (black cod) are a must-have.

Paired with their signature cocktails and never-ending sake supply, girl’s night out couldn’t be more perfect. The music throughout dinner is awesome and their resident DJ’s step in later on to get everyone moving. From then on, the night is a blur of dancing by the bar with all of my girlfriends until our feet hurt! Treat yourself to an evening of delectable dishes, drinks, and debauchery to let loose after your long workweek. #WeekendVibes
