My new Body cream from IDC Dermo
10 years may seem like a long time for some people, but when it comes to skincare, a decade is what it takes to perfect it and IDC has done just that. In 2008, IDC was launched in Quebec and France and rapidly grew in popularity in Europe but not so much here which is why I wanted to dedicate a post to this amazing company. So here is a little bit of history about them before I begin my rave review about their Collection Profil Corps.
In 2004 Dr. Eric Dupont (from our very own province) and a team of dermatologists, plastic surgeons and researchers isolate the 16 causes of aging and through these findings, REGEN (16) was patented in 2014. This powerful technology offers doses of unmatched active ingredients in a single formula to simultaneously target the 16 causes of aging skin. Dr. Dupont himself says that they use the latest research in polytherapy and skin aging to formulate multi-beneficial products based on real and proven results in order to offer consumers the highest quality products. The five main sources of REGEN (16) are meticulously combined from botanical, marine, vitamin, biotechnology and peptide ingredients which in turn inhibits oxidation, pigmentation, keratinization, glycation, DNA damage, enzymes of the matrix, inflammation and permeability of the capillaries and then stimulates hydration, barrier function, cell anchor, energy, oxygenation, synthesis of the matrix, immunity, and cohesion of the dermis-epidermis. I mean, I may not understand every part of the explanation and may have to google a term or two, but what I do know is that to works and I am hooked. What I appreciated about the products gifted to me was that they were for the body this time and not uniquely for my face. It's nice to give my body a little attention since the weather is finally warmer which means my clothing is getting shorter and smaller.
The first areas that the IDC Collection Profil Corps targets is the neck, décolleté and bust. Most women tend to forget about these places until it's too late but beware.
