Makeup
Not all makeup lines are created equal, some are just that much better. And, when you know, you just know. The YSL Touche Eclat has probably been an essential part of my makeup routine since the sad morning years ago when I woke up and saw the dark pockets of my sleepless night under my eyes. This concealer is legit magic. I have also grown a serious addiction to anything Guerlain and simply having this beautiful box of colourful meteorite pearl beads on my bathroom counter gives me a joy that only a decor-fanatic like me would ever truly understand. Marc Jacobs bronzer has saved many-a-day by adding a little colour to my winter-worn face, and this season, nothing says holiday like a little bronze!

I think I’ve made my case for perfumes and diffusers over the years, but for those who aren’t aware of how essential I believe aroma to be, here goes: a scent can fill a room, it can create an experience, it can evoke memories. Scents, especially if you hit the right note, can set a mood like no others sensorial cue. Giving the gift of perfume or mist spreads the joy of that perfect after-sun feeling or that golden rush you have after a fun day shopping with that girls.
