Normally, this time of year is filled with events and gatherings and it’s usually about this time that I start packing our bags for our annual trip down south. But alas, true to 2020, we are locked down and contained to our homes. But, you know what? That’s fine with me because nothing is going to stop me from celebrating!

I have gone to great lengths to perseve my obsession for fashion and to allow my imagination to run wild. As if I didn’t know how deep my love for fashion was prior, now I know that nothing will get in the way of my finding reasons to dress up and sparkle… especially since I discovered LAMARQUE and fell madly in love with their sensationally smooth leather designs.

I found a whole bunch of festive options to play up the positivity and feel radiant for our at-home gatherings. Some poeple might use the fact that it’s just their nuclear family as an excuse to stay in pjs and sweats, but I like to believe that even if it’s just us… I’m going to wear my best!

Whether it’s the feathered top or leather bustier, I’m simply in love with the silhouette it gives. Feminine and seductive, it kind of leaves the eye wanting more. I love the playful vibe created by mixing and matched fabrics and textures. I also love the wide-leg trend that has taken the world by storm. I was originally shy about how it would fit my petite frame, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that if I accentuate my wasit and show some skin on top, well the wide leg actually works!
I’ve always been a fan of that little black dress and like most women, I’m on the ternal hunt for the perfect one. Well, jackpot, because this little black satin sash dress fits like a glove! The ruching and details, the length and fit, it all just works so well. The deep v allows for jewellry accents which also gives me room to make the look mine.

The detail on this organza blouse is out of this world. Tiny moments of leather give this blouse an added softness and edge - a harmonious blend of naughty and nice! I also love the detail on this pleated tapered pant, because nothing is sexier than a thin leather belt just waiting to be pulled! Yes, I said it! lol! I felt so sexy in this outfit and you know what? It’s a fine balance of feeling totally covered up, yet still feeling slightly exposed.

We all know that black on black is a staple in most fashion wardrobes. Well, sitting right next to that monochrome look is the classic black and white outfit we all know and love. Champagne on top and leather on the bottom - safe to say you’ll probably see me around the city traisping the streets in any one of these looks the second we are allowed out!
