I think athleisure wear is probably where all the things I love converge into one category. It sounds funny, but let me explain.

Activewear, or athleisure, is the fashion category that brings workout gear to the fashion world. As you all know, second to fashion, my favourite thing is exercising – so being able to do that in cool, fresh clothes, I mean, it’s a no brainer – don’t we all want to look our best while we work out to look our best? Lol!

PRAISE official has such hot items, it was so hard to narrow my picks down and be semi-reasonable. They recently launched their run collection, and I don’t know about you, but whenever weather permits (and sometimes even when it doesn’t) nothing feels better than pounding the pavement and sweating it out.

When I’m away on vacation, running is my go-to work out, and lately, being up north all the time, the trails through nature are just stunning. I love to hear the sounds of leaves rustling underneath my sneakers and the hot sun hitting my back.

The brand brought to us by a marathon runner himself, designer and creative director Patrick Elkhaim truly knows his stuff when it comes to fusing the worlds of fashion and an athletic lifestyle. Established in 2016, the concept behind the PRAISE official collection is that you need to wear gear that enhances your performance, but you also want to be able to relax post-workout. Versatile and unisex, PRAISE is inspired by those power couples who share the track and their clothes.

I nabbed a few of essentials that have quickly become my staple running outfits—cut to these socks being my new obsession—and I love the range of bold colours their line offers. PRAISE can also customize your gear with your own personal logo or name. Their pieces are staples and whether you work out or not, you’ll love the look with a pair of jean and heels or leggings and kicks. I can’t wait to get my hands on their bleached punk collection.

I know the fashion world is inundated with athleisure – from sweat sets and high performance leggings to biker shorts and next hottest sneakers – but I gotta say, PRAISE kicks it up a notch. Sassy, smart, fearless and instantly classic.
