My Charlotte Tilbury Faves

Charlotte Tilbury has been a makeup artist for over 28 years. With her insane portfolio of creative direction and awards, her makeup collections are the perfect combination of innovative, trendsetting and supremely transformative. She’s a visionary, to say the least, and her Pillow Talk collection is probably one of my favourite this season (and every season). Here are some highlights:

Lip and Cheek Color is just the right amount of pink and sunkiss, the lip and cheek glow has a combo of peach and pink, like a grapefruit for your cheeks. It gives off a youthful glow without that powdery feel. It’s chiffon and sheer in texture and come on, the case is reason alone to fork out the cash. Lol!

Sometimes I’ll wear nothing but liner and mascara and it feels like a feel look. I love the Pillow Talk Eyeliner because it is creamy-matter and has an ultra high pigment. It’s super blendable and easy to glide on.

Speaking of mascara, the Push Up Lashes Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara has a “Load, Comb, and Lift” technology brush. For those who know, you just know, perfect lashes is equal parts mascara to brush. Diamond-shaped bristles to follow the shape of your lash, this mascara will open your eyes for that sultry feel.

The brightening Youth Glow Primer is a skin brightener that has anti-aging properties. Also used as a colour corrector, I love the Youth glow, well first because of the name, and second because in as little as four weeks, you’ll see a visible difference in your skin. More toned and brighter, I use it under foundation as a primer.

Super Nudes are still and trend and Charlotte Tilbury does them super well. Part of her Matte Revolution Lipstick collection, you’ve got to find the shade that works right for your skin tone, and when you do, watch the magic happen. Long-lasting, buildable, and hydrating, what more could you ask for from a lipstick.

I’ve been using Cheek-to-Chic forever and probably always. The perfect swish of powder and I’ve got both a blush and brightener in one. Emitting a luminous complexion, this powder duo is a must and if I’m totally honest, I have one on my bathroom counter and in my purse!

I love a full eyebrow, but despite how hard I try, they won’t always cooperate. So I always use a gel and I love the Brow Fix Clear Eyebrow Gel from Charlotte Tilbury. First, I always go clear, but that’s a personal choice. Second, it’s not so hairspray-y, it’s just sticky enough to keep my lashes in place without making them look wet and hard.

Brow Cheat Refillable Hair-Like Eyebrow Pencil is that micro-fine pencil that makes those perfectly real tiny hairs so your eyebrows have that natural feel. Kind of like that microblading technology so many people are doing these days, I use my brow pencil to fill in some blank spots for a daily look and to give a more robust, fuller feel for those evening looks. Smudge-proof and waterproof, I highly recommend.

Sometimes I like a powder shadow and sometimes I opt for cream. I love the Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow because it is easy to apply and manipulate. Water-infused, it is enriched with Vitamin E, so it’s also healthy (lol!), and helps blur out those tiny imperfections around your eye.

Not all brushes are created equal and the Charlotte Tilbury Eye Smudger Brush is the cream of the crop. Soft, synthetic bristles, I love how well it blends and smooths a smoky eye creating a dimensional feel to any look. Her signature rose gold and night crimson colours are stunning for your makeup counter, just saying.
