The March Round Up

March is the perfect time to renew and refresh that skincare regime. The rebirth of all things perennial, we are all coming out of hibernation and as we emerge our dry skin needs some serious tender love and care. I put together my top 10 March favourite skin care products and they are all hydrating, skin boosters that will rejuvenate your skin and leave you feeling healthier than ever. Goodbye winter, hello glowing spring!

Pure Argan Milk

Josie Maran

Super absorbent and rejuvenating, this creamy milk hydrates, balances, purifies and is lightweight. Everything you ever wanted from a moisturizer. I love Josie Maran products, but this is definitely a stand out for me. It’s cruelty-free and vegan too, which is always a plus!

D-Bronzi

Drunk Elephant

Also cruelty-free and vegan (yes, it’s a trend but it’s a trend for a reason!), the D-bronzi serum is packed with Vitamin D while also mimicking the glowy sun look without the risk of sun exposure. The perfect blend of oils and other healthy skin polyphenols and peptides, I love this product and use it as a base daily.

Pescara

Beauties Lab

Since the beginning, Beauties Lab has been making this sensational fragrance. I have always loved Pescara because it is the perfect hybrid of home spray and body mist. We all have a smell that just makes us feel at home and this is it for me. Grapefruit and rosebuds, I love that tingling feeling it creates.

Sun Drops

Coola

Organic, of course, and super lightweight, the Coola Sun drops are a full spectrum, plant-derived UVA/UVB sun cream. Nourishing and jam-packed with solid protection, Coola is probably my all-time favourite sun product. Blend with other moisturizers or wear solo and you are good to go.

collin cc cream.jpg

CC Cream

G.M. Collin

Another moisturizer, but trust me, you’ve got to try a bunch before you find the right one for your skin. And, then once you’ve found it, you’ve got to switch it up for the season change. The Collin CC Cream has the perfect poreless finish, so suffice to say I use this one come photo time. I also love that it has a soothing element with the aloe vera. Also working to conceal and hydrate, this is a great option for all skin types.

Essential Oil Complex

G.M. Collin

An easy to use complex, this essential oil by G.M. Collin helps soothe skin that is acne prone without making you dry out. Helping to improve blemishes, this is a great oil to leave your skin smooth and matte.

Collagen

Clayton Shagal

I love a great collagen booster and the Clayton Shagal one reduce fine lines and wrinkles while also retaining hydration. If you have a burn or scar, or if you’ve gone for a chemical peel or laser treatment, this Collagen actually helps accelerate recovery. Soothing redness and inflammation, you should definitely try this if you want to tighten, restore or tighten. It’s honestly the best on the market, nothing else compares!

lanolips.jpg

Lanolips

I’m always after a great balm or lip treatment and legit, you can never have enough. This Lanolips is multi-tasking, which is super random for balm, but trust me. I put this on every night before bed and my lips are like supple cushions in the morning. Retaining moisture, you gotta try this one, especially with our erratic weather!

skinceuticals.jpg

Clarifying Clay Masque

Skinceuticals

Most masks with dry out your skin, but not the Skinceuticals Clarifying Clay Masque. Decongesting, this mask is formulated with the earth’s highest quality clay like kaolin and bentonite. Lifting impurities and remove excess oils, I use this to clear away dead skin and walk away feeling calm and my skin feeling soothed.

Hydrating facial serum

Obagi

Serums are that added step we all think we can skip, but Obagi Hydrating Facial Serum is such an essential part of my morning routine. It adds that radiance and glow we are all after. Hydrating and smoothing, this is one of the purest forms of hibiscus you can get. Definitely worth a try and trust me, once you try serums, you won’t know why you waited so long!
