Summer is the perfect backdrop for a birthday party. So many different ideas come to mind when June rolls around. Between pool parties, park gatherings, outdoor 5 a 7s and bbqs, there is honestly no shortage of fun and simple ways to get together and celebrate.

June is a particularly dense month for our family. So many bdays and annis and other celebratory moments, it’s the best time of year to grab that virtual rolodex and start ideating on inspiring party themes. This year, for Neva and Lev’s bday (yup, I threw a combo deal), I got Lucy’s Lemonade Stand to quench our thirst complete with Lucile cups and candles for cute pics. Kids and grownups alike love a yummy sweet and tart drink to break the heat and the idea of a cute lemonade stand was just a no brainer.

We also had the idea of getting an above ground inflatable pool so that we could get wet and wild in the sun. so fun to have the kids cool off with a pool that required absolutely no lifeguard, lol. Birdz pool and bathing suits were an awesome addition and sprinkled just the right amount of summer vibes to our backyard bash.

For our picnic set up and most lovely balloon creation, Love You More Balloons really hit the nail on the head. I am obsessed with these low to the ground set ups for a cute outdoor picnic that honestly feels like a cozy, at-home boho concert. I’m not joking, am I the only one who feels like it’s Coachella when I pop a squat on the grass and sip on lemonade surrounded by flowers and pampas.

Sweet treats are the only way to end a birthday and a cake is the obvious go-to. For Neva and Lev’s bash we punctuated the sweet table with a beautiful selection of artistic wonder – chocolate covered strawberries. Yum! We enjoyed a box of Becky’s Berries homemade strawberries and when I say I couldn’t keep my hands off, I mean it. Cut to me popping one after the other and not holding back!

We had such a nice time relaxing in the summer heat, surrounded by friends and family, it was such a treat. I love being able to pull together a quick and seamless party for my kiddos especially with all these incredible Montreal businesses that make it so easy and special.
