Spring Jacket OOTD

Heavy jackets finally tucked away, spring shows a little more skin and a way bigger smile. I absolutely love being able to throw on that lightweight spring jacket, whether tweed, denim, or leather, they are all the perfect add-on to complete a spring look.

As usual, I love to play dress up around this time of year. Finally getting a chance to prance around town with something other than clunky boots.

I pulled together this stunning Ida Puffer by Sea which was such a great find. Thrown over the Triarchy Josephine Skriver x Triarchy Denim Travel Shirt and R13 jeans. Sort of like that all denim look but with the perfect hint of pastel and print.

I lengthened the leg with the Isabel Marant boot which I found at Shop 4110 along with bold purple Bottega Venetta basketweave purse. I love the play of colours with the street style of denim on denim. It’s part feminine, part fun, and full spring! Especially with the hint of colour and metal dangling in the shape of a charmed heart-to-heart from my personal collection of @mademoisellejules.

My second look, still a casual t-shirt and jean, but feels slightly more sophisticated. My Ganni jacket paired with R13 jeans  and The Attic heel felt like the perfect combo of elegant, street, and feminine. A balance I think I’ve perfected over the years, it’s probably my favourite fashion spot.

I added the Jacquemus purse for colour, picking up on the bold blue that’s woven through the jacket fabric. I also threw on some Tseegan sunglasses with my absolutely stunning, if I do say so myself, @mademoisellejules eyewear chain and ring. A simple accessory can really elevate a look, and for me, pearls are one of the best ways to do that.

Spring can take us in only one direction… and it’s only a matter of time until we are wearing the bare minimum, flowy, breathable fabrics that our Montreal summers oblige. So it’s lightweight looks that layer on those spring jackets now… or never! Not to sound so fatalistic about it, lol!
