ba&sh paris summer vibes

A wild decade, filled with incredible music, festivals, active movements that changed the world, the 70s were a style-studded era that I love to pull from. From the eclectic patterns and wide-leg pants to clogs and wedge sandals, it’s clear that the designers of today are looking back to create this year’s trends.

Always chic with their silhouettes and trendsetting with their colour palette, ba&sh Paris is my go-to for summer dresses. I check in with them regularly at our Westmount boutique to see what’s fresh all year round, but come summer, it’s part of my weekly routine. And when it comes to dresses, shoes, bags and everything in between, they always have something I can’t wait to get my hands on!

I nabbed a stunning dress in this season’s sharpest colour: brown. I know, so simple, so retro, but it is all the rage. And you know what? It pairs so nicely with blond hair and tanned skin, that I am not complaining!

I pulled together an outfit that took a tonal as well as thematic approach. From mustard and beige to crochet and suede, the look is reminiscent of 70s vogue. The Piper dress was the perfect dress to pull it all together.

As a focal point, the belted shirt dress zips all the way up the front and has pockets and button-up tabs on the sleeves. It screams everything from urban chic to laidback style. I love how well it plays to a street vibe with the Carmen vintage sandal and I also have some inspo for a sneaker look.

A bold summer dress is one fashion-forward option, but with ba&sh paris you can find the perfect florals, the sexiest keyholes, and the most feminine maxi skirts. The looks are complete unto themselves and with just the littlest styling—think jewelry, shoes, bags—you have a magazine-ready look.

Barabara and Sharon have been at the ba&sh paris thing for a while and with over 400 stores worldwide, they are bringing fashion, self-expression, and joyful elegance to women everywhere. So if you wanna pop into the Westmount shop, trust me, you’ll find exactly what your summer wardrobe needs!
