The Many Facets of Praise

I want to take a second to talk about something that has started to surface for me recently. I’ve mentioned before how a brand can have a story that you feel connected to; values that you feel aligned with. Well, I’ve felt that way about Praise ever since its inception, but the more intimately I get to know the brand, the more I feel like it brings out so many facets of who I am. It’s a curious thing, but there is something about it that feels really true.

I’ve been wearing Praise clothing since it launched back in 2016. It started as an obvious choice for running. The brand is all about that marathon runner, the athlete, the perfect tech gear for the city jogger. That is me in so many ways.

It wasn’t long before I discovered the values they represent: the strength and discipline they believe in and put forth not only in their fabrics and cuts, but also in their colours and stories behind the design of their collections.

I simply love the array of creativity Praise Official puts forth with collections like Bleached Punk and the TWO6ONE – it is so inspiring to see how the fierce resilience of a female marathon runner inspired an entire collection that has now become my wardrobe (I kid you not, I probably own the entire collection!).

Drawing from their inspiration, I too have become so inspired by the brand and the meaning behind it. There is a piece or outfit from each season that aligns with another facet of who I am. Whether it’s the runner, the outdoor hiker, the streetstyle influencer, or the mom of 3 who needs to run around in comfortable athleisure, Praise has really got me covered.

I feel strong when I wear my bold, red cropped tank with my low hanging joggers. I feel explorative when I throw on my Sherpa and hiking boots. I feel trendy in my leggings and oversized sweater and I love the way all of it makes me feel profoundly myself.

It’s woodsy, it’s rustic, it’s sexy and feminine. It’s outdoors and up north, but it’s also city and ready for anything. Praise basically sums me up and there is nothing more synergistic than finding a brand that you can literally pull anything off the shelf (or site) and know it’ll just fit and work seamlessly.
