Dodiee

When a long-time friend is also a fashion business mogul, well, let’s just say I’m happy to be amongst the few who get to report on it and spread the news! Elisa Dahan, former Chief Creative Officer of Mackage, has ventured off on her own and recently launched Dodiee – a fashion brand that unities knitwear with shapewear.

Ringing it in to the veritable who’s who of the fashion world, Dodiee launched in December, and was celebrated with the likes of Mischa Barton, Pat Cleveland, Chloé Véro, Nane Feist, and none other than Helena Christensen (to name a few).

The party took place at their pop-up in Soho and was designed by industry veteran Stefan Beckman. There were so many special highlights to the event, but the showstopper was the collection.

Dressing each guest in full Dodiee looks, the night boasted vivid shades of fuschia, chocolate brown, and alpine cream. Everyone was draped in form-sculpting knits that contour the body. A sumptuous red-carpet look that takes comfort to another level, Dodiee holds the promise women the world over have been searching for: chic meets cozy!

Dancing the night away with DJ Nikki Kynard, we let the classics set the tone for the selfies, the fashion, the club vibe, and everything that makes those perfect memories.

As Creative Director and Founder, Elisa created a collection that speaks to all women – every shape out there. Embracing the curves and contours that makes each body unique, Dodiee is versatile, wearable, chic, and absolutely stunning. It’s all about those highly tailored pieces that are also luxuriously cozy. Could you ask for anything better than that?

Looking around the room, everything was so artistically spot on – from the colourful high-octane backdrops to the silhouettes in form-fitting Dodiee – it couldn’t have been more magical. What I especially loved was how simplistic yet truly intuitive this collection felt, like it was a long-time coming and ironically, felt like it has been here all along.

When you find that brand that fits right, looks good, and is high quality all around (did I mention the best-in-class Italian manufacturers?), what more can you ask for?
