CAFA 2026

The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards 2026 was nothing short of inspiring. I’m incredibly honored to have been nominated for Emerging Designer – Accessories, alongside such talented and visionary creatives. While I didn’t take home the award, being in that room, surrounded by people who are shaping and pushing the Canadian fashion industry forward, was incredibly motivating.

For the evening, I designed a special piece featuring the three semi-precious stones from my Spring collection: lapis lazuli, green aventurine, and tiger’s eye. Each stone holds its own energy and symbolism, and bringing them together felt like a true reflection of the collection as a whole. It was such a meaningful piece to create, and I loved every part of the design process.

Four years ago, Mademoiselle Jules existed only as an idea. An idea that jewelry could be more personal, more adaptable, more reflective of the person wearing it. I wanted to create pieces that didn’t feel static, jewelry that could evolve with you, shift with your mood, and transform depending on the moment.

To go from that idea to being recognized on a stage like CAFA feels surreal.

I’ve attended CAFA in the past as a guest, sitting in the audience and admiring the designers, stylists, and creatives being celebrated. This year felt different. Not only was I attending as a nominee, but the awards were held in Montreal, the city where Mademoiselle Jules was born. That made the moment even more special.

Watching creatives like Sophie Theallet, Coco Rocha, Tim Blanks, and Andrew Lefty be recognized was a reminder of the level of vision, dedication, and creativity that exists within this industry.

The evening was beautifully hosted by Caroline Vreeland and Isabelle Racicot, bringing amazing energy to the room.

It was also incredibly special to see so many people wearing Mademoiselle Jules throughout the evening. Seeing the pieces come to life in such different ways, styled so uniquely by each person, was a reminder of everything the brand stands for. Each look felt personal, expressive, and entirely their own. I’m so grateful to everyone who chose to wear Mademoiselle Jules!

When I launched Mademoiselle Jules, I didn’t follow a traditional path. The brand was built on instinct, creativity, and a desire to rethink how jewelry fits into everyday life. The concept was simple: interchangeable jewelry designed for self-expression.

Over the years, that idea has grown into something far beyond what I imagined. What started as a personal project has become a brand supported by an incredible community. Seeing how people wear, style, and make these pieces their own continues to inspire me every day.

This nomination feels like a recognition of that journey, not just mine, but everyone who has been part of it.

To everyone who has supported Mademoiselle Jules: thank you. To have been nominated alongside such inspiring talent means so much. This is only the beginning.

A special thank you to those who helped me get ready for the evening:
Dodiee for the dress, Le Art Of and Bellami Hair Pro for the hair, Virginie Vandelac for the makeup, and Aldo for the shoes.

And a big thank you to Elle Quebec and Clin D’Oeil for featuring me and the jewelry!
