I’m always foraging the city for great new boutiques and brands to fall in love with. When I heard about B-Lux on Rue St-Denis, I had to head over and see what all the hype was about. The quaint shop is filled with clothes by For Love and Lemons, The Fifth Label, Sanctuary, Velvet, Six Crisp Days, Finders Keepers, and more. Here are a few of my picks to wrap up the summer in style!
For Love and Lemons has taken over social media and is definitely one of the hottest brands of the year. The LA based label is known for it’s sexy skivvies and boho-inspired ready to wear collections. The bright yellow, floral lace Lilly dress caught my eye from the moment I stepped into the boutique. You can wear it over a bikini as a luxe cover-up or for a sexy daytime look, layer with a slip or bandeau bra and skirt combo. This piece is a colorful classic so I suggest you grab one…if there are any left!
They also have Sanctuary clothing, I just LOVE the collection. I was super happy when I found the most perfect army green bomber jacket hanging at B-Lux. It’s the perfect shade and the cut is ultra flattering. You can pair it with just about everything and all you need is a few extra layers to wear it way into fall.
Thanks to B-Lux, I was introduced to Three of Something, an amazing Australian brand. When I spotted one of their delicate white crochet tops on the rack, I knew it needed to be in my closet. What I love about these sheer crochet pieces, aside from their femininity, is that you can wear it over a simple camisole during the day or bralettes for a barely-there evening look. Take this crochet number straight into the fall by pairing it with jeans, and a chunky knit sweater, and booties.
Summer might be coming to an end, but these classics will take you straight into next year. If you’re like me, you’ll be heading somewhere hot to break up the long winter, so you’ll need to stock up on resort wear. Head over today and get up to 60% off all your favorite summer styles while supplies last! You can also shop online at www.b-lux.ca. Can’t wait to shop your Fall/Winter picks!
