Dior Lip Glow Squad
When I love something, I tend to stick with it for years, even decades, and this is true when it comes to Dior's Lip Glow Color Reviver balms. I have been a fan since it was first released in 2009 and this natural and comfortable balm has been a constant fixture in my makeup bag time and again.
Now, Dior has created 10 new shades but before I get into the details about their latest creations, let me tell you why I love this product. First and foremost this tinted balm has colour reviver technology which makes the formula react to the pH level of each person's lips releasing the active ingredient and providing a natural flush of customized pink. It is also infused with mango butter for 24 hr hydration making it silky smooth and extremely comforting on and for the lips. This balm really and truly is my favourite.
So with their original glow adding a rosy tint effect and subtle shine still going strong, Dior came up with their "Lip Glow Squad" with Bella Hadid as the face of the campaign. The 10 new shades provide a palette graduation of pinks to suit every skin tone and alongside their latest colours, Raspberry and Ultra Pink, Dior has two new finishes, Matte Glow, the first soft tinted balm with a velvety matte finish for a soft blurring effect that enhances lips and made with the same hydrating and nourishing mango butter as the other balms but also enriched with cranberry oil, it maintains the unchanging Color Reviver technology to flush the lips a soft pink and works perfectly as a base with a matte lipstick. And you have also the Holo Glow, an iridescent texture mirroring the holographic trend of today, which provides lips with shimmering radiance and a discrete touch of iridescence for the illusion of enhanced lips all while maintaining the comfort and smoothness of their popular balms.
The application of the Holo Glow remains as easy as applying the Dior Lip Glow simply by sweeping it from left to right across the lips. I am very excited to try them all and not because they look good, but because they are a fantastic combination of lip care and make-up all in one and the best part is, you don't need a mirror to apply them, just sweep and go or as Bella Hadid says: "You Glow Girl"
