LOW CARB OATMEAL

This oatmeal is the perfect comforting low carb & keto friendly breakfast that will keep you full until lunch! For me, that's a must- I love that this recipe is satiating & filling while being good for you & filled with healthy ingredients. You can actually get a thick, creamy texture by cooking hemp seeds, flax seed meal, chia seeds, and collagen in some coconut milk, and by topping it off with your favourite add-ins, you make it totally custom to yoou can top it off however you want to make it custom to your liking!

LOW CARB OATMEAL

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons of Golden Flaxseed Meal

  • 2 tablespoons of Coconut Flour

  • 2 tablespoons of Chia Seeds

  • ½ cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 2 tablespoons of Coconut milk 

  • 2-3 tablespoons of  Maple Syrup

  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence

To Garnish:

  • Fresh berries

  • Bee Pollen (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the dry ingredients into a small saucepan and mix together.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients.

  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk the ingredients together for about 10 minutes until it has thickened and is warmed through.

  4. Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings- I love to add berries, bee pollen & my Power Butter- keep your eyes opened for that recipe coming soon!
