Nespresso Summer coffee

Like Nespresso says, happiness starts with that first sip. Whether it’s the morning brew or the midday pick-me-up, the warm aroma of Nespresso fills the air and brings a smile to my face.

Nothing feels more welcoming than offering a yummy coffee to a guest, especially the yummy flavours of Nespresso’s summer collection. I am not normally someone who adds sweet syrups to my coffe, but something about summer brought out the rebel in me. From sweet vanilla to the comforting taste of caramel, the Monin Coffee Syrup Kit in Vanilla and Caramel are the perfect addition to my kitchen countertop. Playing barista and experimenting with iced and warm coffee drinks, I discovered several new ways to drink coffee!

The Nespresso site has a whole host of recipes, which by the way, are all absolutely outstanding. I tried a whole bunch and the truth is, I don’t think I ever realized just how nuanced each pod is when it comes to flavours.

Alessandra Ambrosio (yes, the supermodel) brought out the Brazilian vibes with the new Limited Edition Liminha over ice – like a delicious cup of sunshine, the drink transports you to the beaches of Rio. A tropical yumminess to the delicious drink, it has delicate notes of mint and fresh citrus with that hint of bitterness we all want from coffee. Chilled over ice, the flavours are locked in for maximum enjoyment.

But it’s not just the Laminha pod got me excited – the endless options to create new drinks either with milks (a whole range of alternatives bring out different tastes with each sip), topped off with water, cold or hot, and then of course, the option to add Monin syrups.

What I love most about Nespresso coffee, aside from the ease and simplicity, is the global feel each collection boasts. Nespresso appeals to all coffee drinkers because each country is represented to bring out the international tastes that each country offers. And then, depending on how you spruce up your brew, each cup is uniquely made just for you!
