Out and About Town

Who else is feeling an energy boost!? I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, this city finally feels like it’s coming alive!

Everything is open again, and although some precautions are still set in place, I feel as though hope is truly in the air. Trotting my stylish self down the city streets, I threw on my Zara outfit, Summer Memories x Mlle Jules necklace, and Paris Texas shoes (from Holt Renfrew) and let the city lead me to a source of inspiration.

I ended up in the Old Port at Victoria Square, because, well, it’s freaking stunning around there. The W hotel is fully open again and the terrace is probably one of my favourite hot spots (and has been for decades).

Bottega Venetta purse in tow, I snapped pics outside of our city’s most iconic destinations. Whether it’s cocktails curated by 10 mixologists from W hotels worldwide, or if it’s just to simply be surrounded by lush greenery, the scene just up and grabs you. I’m always inspired and smiling when I’m in that hood, and I always, inevitably, run into a friend or two.

A fun fact about the W terrace: it was designed by our one and only Sid Lee Architecture and is built from recycled material as a way to reimagine sustainability. Surrounded by this abundant greenery, I mean it’s no wonder we come alive when we are in this space.

Whether it’s a staycation, a Canadian adventure, a local day out with the girls or a family fun day in Old M, there are certain landmarks you’ve got to hit and the W is one of them. Bring a camera!
