JUNE PRIDE FAVES

In honour of Pride, I put together my top 10 favourite products in a beautiful array of colours from red and orange to yellow, green and blue – yeah, basically a rainbow!

I love how colours play on my countertop and I most certainly take that into account when I select my beauty products. Of course I want skincare that works and is clean, but I also want my space to look fresh and luxe. It’s all about balance, am I right? Without further ado… my rainbow faves:

RED

Who can resist a luscious red lipstick? YSL Rouge Pur Couture shade 101 goes with basically everything – especially that basic t-shirt and jeans vibe or little black dress. There is a wide range of shades available so you’re sure to get the right red for your skin tone and hair colour. I love the moisturizing and hydrating feeling this lipstick has, it leaves you with that soft and smooth feel.

ORANGE

I’ve been doing overnight serums ever since my hair started to thin after I had my son. The Kerastase Nutritive 8-hour Magic Night Serum is the perfect overnight moisturizing treatment that leaves your hair soft and ready to be styled in the morning.

For those who forget to protect their skin against the sun’s rays, there is a solution for aftercare. I take sunscreen pretty seriously, but on those days where the sun is so strong I double up on my face SPF the Estehderm Bronz Repair Cream SPF 25. It hydrates and firms just like a good anti-aging sunburn prevention cream should do, plus it helps sustain whatever suntan you do get. I have a product promo code for anyone ready to get sun-safe, just key in MADEMOISELLEJULES for free shipping!

YELLOW

The Guerlain collection boasts many products that sit atop my countertop and get pulled out daily, especially the Abeille Royal Youth Watery Oil. It repairs skin tissue and nurtures your skin to stay looking young, firm and bright.

Back to skin protection, here’s another incredibly powerful sunscreen that is more of an all-over formula: the Ideal Soleil SPF 60 by Vichy. It’s legit the best mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin and can also be used for your face. It contains a 100% mineral filter and is tinted to even out your skin’s look and feel.

Lightweight and cooling, this oil-free moisturizer has a one-of-a-kind function: it diminishes the look of pores. Yes, please! The Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Moisturizer is like a skin detox; it smooths the texture of uneven skin and specifically targets wrinkles and dark spots. Oh, and it works.

BLUE

The Ole Henriksen Lemonade Smoothing Scrub is as refreshing as it sounds. It retexturizes, polishes and reduces the size of pores while also bathing you in that yummy lemony fragrance. The lemon peel powder works hard to loosen your dead skin cells, and then the sugar exfoliants sweep it all away. Try it, you will wonder where this scrub has been your whole life.

PURPLE

Kerastase Blond Absolu – Bain Ultra-Violet is a major winning product, especially for those with bleached or dyed blond hair. It neutralizes those yellow or copper tones and keeps that icy blond colour we are all after. It protects your hair as well while also keeping it healthy and radiant.

RAINBOW

I have been an ultra-fan of Josie Maran forever and I recommend her products whenever I get the chance. I love the Vibrancy Concealer because it doesn’t feel cakey or dry at all. It brightens the dark circle area to look healthier (and well slept) and it evens out discoloUrations, blemishes or scarring. Like a good concealer should do, it firms as well for that perfect multi-function. I use shade light, one skin tone lighter than my skin.

Summer Memories x Mlle Jules has been my pet project for the last months and I am over the moon about the pieces I designed and co-created. My most recent addition is the Pacha necklace and it is just that perfect summer accessory to bring out the colour or even provide the pop of colour your outfit needs to stand out. I love the delicacy of white mixed in with the rainbow… it just feels so happy, right?

Which colour is your favourite this summer? Or are you like me and just want to rainbow out!?
