Every year, September rolls around, and part of me has this disorienting feeling that it’s a new year. I guess in some ways, it is. With the start of the academic year for my minis and the holidays, September marks new beginnings in my family. The Skinny Peppermint Natures Mouthwash Oil Pulling strengthens and freshens your gums and teeth. Oral hygiene at its best, oil pulling has a 4-step method that must be followed to ensure optimal results and of course, like most self-care protocol, must be done at least 4 times a week.
It must be done first thing in the morning
Take a 1 or 2 tablespoon swig and swish it around for about 10-15 minutes
Spit, rinse, and clean your mouth out with saltwater
Brush your teeth as per usual

Holi(Water) by Agent Nateur is my favourite toner. It is the best out there by a landslide. It’s ultra moisturizing and has a built-in exfoliation system that plumps the skin while also visibly brightening and firming it. I love the glow and trust me, in all seriousness, it is instant and makes you feel like you are radiating!
Calm Mood Mist Cardea AuSet is one of my new discoveries. A quick spray on my pillow before bed and I am ready to sink in and relax. I grab a book and lean back and can feel my body and mind calming down. Such a gentle mood enhancer, I use it for my ids before bed and before I meditate as well. The fact that it is vegan, smells amazing, and is made in Canada is all a plus!
Vitamin C Scrub by Vivier gives you that perfect instant glow! Revitalizing for your face or body, the scrub works to exfoliate dead skin cells leaving your face toned and vibrant. Vivier is a derm-approved brand and I have been using it for a while. I love a bunch of their products (here’s a link to their serum I love)
Klorane makes this Eau Micellaire that works like a dream. I’ve been using it for years and it is a staple on my bathroom counter. 3-in-1 makeup remover, which means it removes, moisturizes, and hydrates all at the same time. It is gentle and works perfectly for both eyes and lips, and of course, everything in between!
Coola’s Mineral Sun Silk Cream is a great sunscreen that is both organic and oil-free. I try to avoid avobenzoate at all costs and it’s harder than you may think. But Coola’s plant-derived full spectrum UVA/UVB protection is great not only to help against sun damage but also helps promote youthful, radiant skin.
Moroccan Oil Colour Care Blonde Perfecting Shampoo is one of those shampoos that honestly does ten things at once. Huile Prodigieuse by Nuxe is that perfect nourishing oil that your skin is going to thank you for. Made to repair and beautify, the botanical oils work to smooth and hydrate your skin and oh man, does it smell sensational! I make a ritual of putting oil on my hands and body (and neck), and this is the multi-purpose dry oil that does the trick.
