LE ARTOF SALON

A salon that boasts the trifecta is nearly impossible to find, so when you find it, you yell it from the rooftops, and this post is my rooftop!

Le Artof Salon is all about the Art of hair. From cutting and lengthening, dyeing and a whole suite of other services to preserve the richness of your hair, the Artof Salon is my one-stop shop and a serious local gem in our beloved Montreal.

Comprised of passionate professionals and hair creatives, when you walk in there you feel the light, happy vibes of people who have come together for their shared love of haircare. No pomp, no circumstance, just community and artistry. And when I say artistry, I mean just check out their site, these hair artists have serious style. 

Le Artof Salon is of course a local salon but they’ve got both a full store of merch in-house and online. Only the best of the best, they carry all of my faves and have turned me onto a few new faves.

I’ve been a long-time user of Kerastase products for their well-known salon quality. Used by professionals the world over, I have a whole bunch of Kerastase products on my countertop and shower shelf. Alongside Kerastase comes L’Oreal, the only two hair care brands a blond gal like me would ever need. 

I’ve been heading out to St Laurent for my cut, my extensions, and my colour for some time now. Every time I post my hair care days on Insta, this is where you’ll see me. Obviously they provide all the services: balayage, highlights, baby lights (yes, it’s a thing), rinses, glosses and treatments, as well as a variety of cuts which is beyond my scope of understanding, but supposedly there are a whole host of types!

You can call or book online for an appointment. You show up, they take care of the rest. Looking good has never been this easy!
