Lia's Birthday Camp Reunion

This year, for Lia’s birthday, we wanted to celebrate in an intimate way with a small gathering to respect the restrictions. For Lia, a small party was an easy choice since she really wanted to see it all and the theme for this birthday was: camp vibes!

We did so many fun activities – all of which picked up on that camp theme. Beading organized by @strungt and the girls had so much fun creating designs together. We also did a flower-making activity which was so cute that @trykado organized it. We just loved what the Kado team did last year for Lia’s birthday and wanted to use their platform again this year. Kado does everything from finding you that perfect custom cake, balloons, picnic rentals, and all that celebration stuff. It’s hard to find unique vendors in this city who can create such a great custom floral camp activity to celebrate Lia’s bday.

The lootbags were custom made and personalized – filled with the creations each guest made and their own crocs complete with jibbits, jibbits, and more jibbits (here is one more jibbit)!

I always take my kids’ birthdays as an opportunity to snap some photos and create our birthday photo book to remember these precious moments forever. Lia loves some mommy-daughter time, so we always get some beautiful pics that, like most moms, I end up pulling up every time I want to smile. I had so much fun prepping for her birthday this year, it felt particularly different as she is getting older and took such pride in creating a birthday that represented her and her camp friends.

Our backyard space with decorated to the nines, or shall I say, 11s (ok, bad joke!). We had a stunning floral arch by @loveyoumore_balloons, floral cart @cart.and.co, and table florals by @aura_design.

I am so in love with picnics, I find them welcoming and relaxed, and obviously, a little boho. Lia’s picnic set by @pknic.ca was absolutely flawlessly executed. Finally, her 11 cake by @threefifty.degrees, which was so delicious, elevated that happy birthday moment to new heights.

What a special day filled with such dear memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make my little Lia’s birthday dream come true and a special thank you to my Lia, who impresses me every day with her big heart, generous spirit, and a soul filled with love and laughter. xo mon amour!
