Top 5 Holiday Looks

It’s the season to get dolled up and ready to hit the town. Night out or night in, there’s always great reason to throw together a festive outfit that says, “Let’s bring in 2020 with some serious fashion!”

I’ve put together a few looks and have narrowed it down to the top 5 holiday looks, so if you’re looking for inspo on how to dress – here goes!

For the Casual Rocker

Michael Kors look by montreal Canadian fashion blogger mademoiselle jules mlle

Michael Kors does it all, and wow do they know how to rock a pair of acid wash, baggy jeans… I paired the stretch denim carrot jean (linked here) with a graphic oversized tee (shop here) adding the perfect studded belt for that grunge effect. All black but playing with shades and of course, a hot pairs of pumps for both length and a touch of feminine flare. The perfect look for a night out dancing, dining or anything where Insta is involved. Read about the Michael Kors launch here!

For the Sporty Chick

You can rock a suit any ol’ day of the year, but can you glam up a sporty track suit? An elegant black and white look that plays off the fabric, styles and eras – I went for a Victorian-style blouse with a black ribbon tie (from Zara, linked here) and I paired it with an athletic Spiritual Gangster track suit… yes, that’s a marathon-running tracksuit, ladies (you can also shop locally at Show and Tell). I’m obsessed with these Alexander Wang shoes (linked similar here).

For the Glamorous Bohemian

There is no better occasion than the holidays to break out the stunning, floor-length dress and Ba&Sh Paris seriously knows how to design the perfect dress. I snagged the Hali and kind of live in it (you can shop locally at Billie Boutique) – perfect for vacation, hosting, a night out dancing, you name it. I paired with Louboutin shoes, because, well, the under-red just matched so well (kidding!). I grabbed mine from Holt Renfrew Ogilvy.

For the Flirty Girls

Nothing is sexier than a mini skirt showing off those gams. I paired the stunning Jocacy feather skirt (Yara, linked here) with the most amazing blouse by Misa Los Angeles (read about my love for Misa here). I am a huge fan of a simple pump, and YSL kind of cornered the market on the most comfortable yet stylish pumps of life. Seriously.

For the Classy & Sexy Ladies

Taking the holidays up a notch, you can rock in a seriously decked out gown or… tuxedo. I paired this sleek Nili Lotan blazer and tux pant (linked here) with the insanely sexy Blush Lingerie Revolve bodysuit (linked here or shop locally at TNT). Adding a simple pop of metallic colour, I paired with the sparkliest Jimmy Choo pump for a hint of glam.

Then there are those who are going to stay home and cozy up with a loved one or gather with friends and family for an intimate holiday – you can always downplay any of these looks with a killer pair of sneakers. Whatever you feel most yourself in is the best way to ring in the holiday season!

I hope these looks inspired your holiday style!
